Contractor management: priority on responsibility and transparency

As part of the implementation of the integrated gas treatment plant (IGTP) project at the Kashagan field, «Kazakh Construction Group» LLP, the leader of the consortium, attaches particular importance to effective interaction with contractors.

The contractor management system is aimed at coordinating the actions of project participants, agreeing on goals and objectives, as well as ensuring a high level of quality and compliance with safety requirements when performing work.

One of the priority areas at the current stage has become ensuring transparency in the field of labor relations. Last week, «Kazakh Construction Group» LLP initiated an audit on personnel issues. As part of the audit, the financial stability of contractors, timely payment of wages, as well as compliance with the RoK Labor Code.

The audit is of a supportive and corrective nature and is aimed at strengthening stability and legal transparency in labor relations, which, in turn, contributes to the sustainable implementation of the entire project.
