Kazakh Construction Group LLP continues construction of the Kashagan Gas Processing Plant (GPP) in the Atyrau Region.
All construction processes are proceeding according to the approved schedule, adhering to high quality standards and safety requirements.
As of November 12, excavation progress was 68%. Backfilling was 30% complete. Installation of process equipment was 45.4%. Concrete work was 74.1% complete, and steel structure installation was 29.1%.
Installation work on spherical tanks continues. These tanks are widely used in the oil and gas industry for storing and transporting liquefied petroleum gases (LPG).
Furthermore, concrete work has transitioned to the winter season. Although the climate in the area where the gas processing plant is located is not particularly harsh and extremely low temperatures are rare, the KCG team prepared well in advance for the onset of the cold season.
In preparation for the winter period, measures were taken to ensure compliance with design requirements and winter concreting standards. This enabled a timely transition to winter concrete pouring, ensuring the required quality and strength of concrete structures was maintained in low temperatures.
Thanks to the advanced preparation and coordinated efforts of KCG personnel, the transition to winter was smooth and without disruption to the construction and installation schedule.
It is worth noting that night work continues site in parallel with day shifts, ensuring the established construction schedule is maintained and the available time is used efficiently.
At night, it is especially important to create a safe and comfortable environment for personnel. High-quality lighting in work areas is a key factor. Thanks to these measures, the KCG team ensures safe and uninterrupted work even at night, maintaining high levels of productivity and construction quality.
“Kazakh Construction Group” LLP continues to consistently implement the project, ensuring its high-quality and timely completion.
