Representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Samruk-Kazyna inspected the construction of the gas processing plant

Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Zhamauov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for New Projects of JSC NC «QazaqGaz» Batyrzhan Tergeusizov and Director of the Oil and Gas Assets Department of JSC NWF «Samruk-Kazyna» Ivan Korotkov inspected the construction of a gas processing plant in Kashagan, with a capacity of 1 billion m3 per year.

After a tour of the construction site, a production meeting was held with the participation of contractors.

The contractors reported on the progress of construction and plans until the end of 2025.

To date, more than 1,900 people are involved in the construction site, including 1,231 direct personnel. Regular safety audits and training sessions are conducted for workers.
Progress on construction and installation works (CIW)

As of June 30, 2025, the following has been completed:

➡️ Concrete works on the construction of foundations at the gas treatment plant amount to 47,596 m³, progress 63.75%.
➡️ Installation of metal structures - 3,207 tons, progress 16.02%.
➡️ Installation of mechanical equipment - 3,552 tons, progress 37.85%.
➡️ Installation of tanks - 710 tons, progress 26.2%.
➡️ Installation of underground pipelines - 16,294 m, progress 35%.
