«Kazakh Construction Group» LLC continues construction within the framework of the Kashagan Gas Processing Plant project

«Kazakh Construction Group» LLC actively continues construction work within the framework of the implementation of the Kashagan Gas Processing Plant (GPP) project, located at the Yeskene field in the Atyrau region.

The following types of work are being performed at the current stage:

• installation of process equipment;
• performance of concrete works;
• installation of metal structures;
• excavation works (development, backfilling, compaction);
• painting of metal structures;
• lifting works;
• installation of external water supply and sewerage networks (EWSN);
• installation of cables and wires;
• construction of a rotational camp;
• pipe piping;
• installation of tanks;
• electrochemical protection (ECP);
• hydraulic testing of pipes, concrete and metal tanks.

All construction processes are implemented in accordance with the approved schedule and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Progress on the main types of work for the previous week:

• Earthworks (development, backfilling, compaction) - progress 153.7%;
• Installation of process equipment - progress 29.5%;
• Concrete works (installation of foundations, bottoms, structures, etc.) - progress 50.4%.
Installation of a fire water tank (RVS-5000 m³)

As part of fire safety, work is also underway at the facility to install a special fire tank with a capacity of 5000 m³. Such tanks are designed to store water needed to extinguish fires, and provide convenient water intake for fire-fighting equipment.

Qualified specialists are involved in completing the construction of the tank:

• fitters,
• welders,
• technical specialists.
The planned completion date for the work is 2 months.
