Weekly inspection of the construction of the Gas Processing Plant (GPP) at Kashagan by the management of QazaqGaz: construction pace accelerating

The First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "National Company QazaqGaz" Meirbek Ikhsanov once again inspected the progress of the construction of the Gas Processing Plant (GPP) at the Kashagan field in the Atyrau region.

During the meeting, the leadership of the Kazakh Construction Group consortium was instructed to accelerate the construction pace, increase the workforce, and place orders for critically important equipment.

The installation of equipment is being carried out in two shifts, which allows for faster progress. The absorption column weighing 170 tons and the second tier of the ES-0701 chimney have already been installed. Overall, the installation of mechanical equipment has been completed by 15.6%. Special attention is given to ensuring safety standards at the construction site.

Currently, 1,078 people and 189 units of machinery are involved on site.

The construction project of the GPP at Kashagan is part of QazaqGaz's strategy to develop gas processing and improve the country's energy efficiency.
