Kashagan IGTU project: progress and interaction with the region

Kazakh Construction Group LLP continues to implement the project for the construction of a comprehensive gas treatment plant (IGTU) with a capacity of 1 billion nm³ per year at the Kashagan field, Atyrau region.

As of June 16, 2025, the following progress has been achieved:

• Backfilling - 20% of the volume has been completed;
• Concrete work - 63% complete;
• Installation of heavy process equipment - 17.6 tons have been installed.

The work is being carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.

On June 17, 2025, a working meeting was held with representatives of local executive bodies of the Makat district, dedicated to the issues of attracting labor from among the local population. The meeting was held on the territory of the Labor Mobility Center.

Kazakh Construction Group LLP attaches great importance to the issues of personnel localization and operates within the framework of the generally accepted algorithm for hiring personnel and, together with the Akimat, conducts regular monitoring of employment. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of selecting candidates for open vacancies primarily from among residents of the region.
