Working meeting in Beijing: parties discussed key stages of implementation of gas processing plant project at Kashagan field

On May 27-28, 2025, a working meeting of representatives of «QazaqGaz» NC JSC, «Kazakh Construction Group» LLP, «Integra Construction KZ» LLP and «ChinaOil HBP» was held at the head office of ChinaOil HBP Science & Technology Co., Ltd in Beijing, dedicated to the progress of the project for the construction of a gas processing plant at the Kashagan field in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by, in particular: Meirbek Ikhsanov - First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC «QazaqGaz», Kudret Shamiev - Chairman of the Supervisory Board of «Integra Construction KZ» LLP, Daniyar Rakhimtayev - General Director of «Integra Construction KZ» LLP, Nurlan Zhalbirov - General Director of «Kazakh Construction Group» LLP, Liu Jian - Independent Member of the Board of «ChinaOil HBP Group», Lu Wei - General Director of «ChinaOil HBP Group», Zhou Xueshesh - Deputy General Director, Gao Chuanling - Deputy General Director of «ChinaOil HBP Central Asia».

The participants discussed the coordination of commissioning works, control over the installation of process equipment, as well as the organization of training for Kazakhstani specialists in the operation of production facilities. Special attention was paid to compliance with deadlines and quality at all stages of implementation.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a trilateral protocol, which set out the agreements reached and further steps on the project.

The gas processing plant at Kashagan is being implemented within the framework of a consortium, which includes:
• «Kazakh Construction Group» LLP — the leader of the consortium, execution of construction and installation works;
• ChinaOil HBP Science & Technology Co., Ltd — gas purification technology and equipment supply;
• «Promstroyproekt» LLP — design.

The customer of the project is NC «QazaqGaz» JSC.
The implementation of the plant in the Atyrau region is of strategic importance: the project is aimed at developing the national gas infrastructure, increasing the efficiency of raw material processing and introducing modern technological solutions.
